[Isis-users] ABCD version 1.2 for Linux

Estimados colegas:
Bireme ¿no invierte?
Y rentable.
Saludos cordiales

Dear colleagues:
Should I maybe sit down... or "to wait sitting" that the Institute Bireme?
give us an answer.
The topic of the solitude to solve the things that don't work: it is
infinte.
I have libraries in Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Mexico and until in Spain
to those that will owe migrar, in a term of short time, their bases to
another soft that works well in Linux because I don't get that the ABCD
works in that platform...
Those that work in Windows are making it with inconveniences. Serious.
I make 25% of my support work and maintenance of the bases in gratuitous
form:
I cannot get paid to those that the soft is not offering them neither good
operation, neither there is support, neither answer from the distributors or
responsible organization.
The level of those interested ones in ABCD and in being qualified it
diminishes as the time passes.
Do maybe no longer interest Bireme that we work in ABCD?
As the J-Isis does go?
With Sara Telias has a base with an extremely important material of
commands, advice, instructions, on Winisis, ABCD and J-Isis, utilitarian
Cisis and in our plans: to be able to bring Ernesto Spinak to Buenos Aires
to arm a Seminar of Utilitarian.
Doesn't Bireme invest?
Do we should, us, the users and capacitadores to offer support, help,
training... investing?
The People that doesn't receive an useful soft, don't pay courses.
And every time they are but those that request you them of a hand, helps.
But I work from necessity, if was a hobby would knit gloves or it would
collect stamps.
This is my work and "I sit down" that if I continue hit ABCD, I will finish
working free, paying my hosting and also, without feeling satisfied.
It is good hour so that they inform if there is somebody behind the soft.
This way one decides that I walk to continue, the one that is correct. And
profitable.
Cordial greetings
M.M.MacLean

BIREME's silence, for several months now, is ear-splitting...
It looks like we need to organize complementary ways of distribution (and
support) for ABCD.
I would appreciate at least some comments from the institute.
