INSTALACION COMPLETA DE MICROISIS (CDS/ISIS)

(pag. 21-39) Abstract This article describes how MicroISIS (CDS/ISIS) was installed at
the Information Centre of the National Atomic Energy Commission
(CICNEA) on a Novell network. This network initially used
version 2.2, then 3.11 and is currently using version 3.12. The
installation and the methods followed are totally independent of
the Novell version or DOS used, except for the assignation of
the user's attributes, which in version 3.x  are more complete
than in versions 2.x. One of the most important technical
aspects taken into account when installing MicroISIS on the
CICNEA NOVELL network has been the safety and integrity of the
data. The aim was to avoid certain system users being able to
leave MicroISIS and wander about the disk units erasing or
modifying files, or even through MicroISIS itself their being
able to add, modify or erase records in any of the Databases in
the system. Resumen El presente trabajo describe como se realizo la instalacion de
MicroISIS (CDS/ISIS) en el Centro de Informacion de la Comision
Nacional de Energia Atomica (CICNEA) en una red NOVELL, red que
inicialmente utilizo la version 2.2, luego una version 3.11 y
actualmente una version 3.12. La instalacion y los metodos
seguidos son totalmente independientes de la version Novell o
DOS utilizadas, excepto en la asignacion de los atributos de
usuario, que en las versiones 3.x son mas completos que en las
versiones 2.x. Uno de los aspectos tecnicos al que se le ha
otorgado una vital importancia al instalar MicroISIS (CDS/ISIS)
en la red Novell del CICNEA ha sido la seguridad e integridad de
los datos.  Se busco evitar que determinados usuarios del
sistema puedan salir de MicroISIS y naveguen asi dentro de las
unidades de disco borrando o modificando archivos, o que aun a
traves del mismo  MicroISIS puedan agregar, modificar o borrar
registros en cualquiera de las Bases de Datos del sistema.

En algún número de la revista Infoisis se publicó un trabajo en el que se explicaba con varios ejemplos, la instalación de Winisis en red.

¿Alguien tiene copia de dicho trabajo?. No recuerdo el autor, pero probablemente fuese el propio Santomero.

¿Me pueden enviar dicho artículo?. Me lo ha pedido uno e los usuarios españoles.
