[Isis-users] ABCD formato Marc

Dear all,

several questions on this list recently asked not only for the new version but also for the documentation on it.
As for this last issue, a major effort will be started shortly, but had to wait for the new version (first 1.2transitional, then 2.0 not long thereafter) to become more or less 'stable' as it doesn't make sense to write documentation on a still-too-much-changing software. E.g. the Digital Library function of v2.0 recently has still got some major improvements which however also create new problems and needs to test.
So the 'Manual' (ABC of ABCD) will get a full overhaul in order to cover v2.0. After the writing of it in English, it still needs to be translated into the 3 other official ABCD-languages, so one needs to be a bit patient. But in addition there will be a wiki on ABCD in which urgent questions can be dealt with.
Don't forget this is all voluntary work by non-paid people. Donations to make things happen faster are welcome ... ;-)

Todas las bases en ABCD tienen la definción de campos en la carpeta  /bases/<mibase>/def/<lang>

si la base es MARC y el idioma español, entonces en el directorio:  /bases/marc/def/en
encontraras todas las tablas asociadas a los campos, que son archivos con extensión .tab

Por ejemplo, los países están en la tabla   countries.tab, los idiomas en   languages.tab

La lógica de todas las tablas es     codigo |  valor
por ejemplo
sog|Sogdian
som|Somalí
son|Songhai
sot|Soto
spa|Español
srd|Sardo
Esas tablas pueden editarse con un editor normal de texto, como Notepad, y tú puedes adaptarlas
agregando campos que no están, o borrando instancias que nunca vas a usar de modo de dejar listas más cortas y simples de usar

Cómo se hace para agregar en el campo 008 otros países de publicación. También en el campo de idioma del texto.

Pueden indicarnos un lugar donde bajar un manual actualizado y completo de ABCD
