[Isis-users] Error creating database ABCD

I do what Egbert says, additionally we need to edit the file at
/opt/ABCD/www/htdocs/central/dbadmin/crearbd_ex_copy.php and comment the
line 224. With these two things it works fine.

Probably the problem is caused by the problem I reported with an easy
solution earlier on this list :
in the file /opt/ABCD/www/htdocs/central/dbadmin/crearbd_new_create.php
change on line 198  the instruction  $Dir=strtolower($Dir); to :
//$Dir=strtolower($Dir);
meaning : de-activate that instruction by putting comment characters before
it (//).

Hi,

In the ABCD 1.2 transitional version (Linux) I also could not create the
database, after I went through all the steps of FDT, FST, and PFT. Just said
that the database could not be created, although the permissions were set at
777.
Do not know whether this was rectified.

Can anyone tell me which permissions I must set to databases folder of ABCD
ILS under Linux? I’m trying to create a new database but it says that it
can’t create the database. I suppose that is a permission problem in Linux
because the version of ABCD running under Windows does it correctly.
