After importing or editing your data, you have to fully index the database.
For larger databases we recommend to use the (new) function in the 'utilities' menu of the main menu (not the toolbar) as it is much faster, using in fact mx
Of course you can also use the mx-command directly on the command-line.

Newly added or Z-39.50 copied records are indexed automatically but not records imported from other sources.

Colleagues'

just created/migrated a database  from winisis.  did all the requisites i.e. upload fdt, pft, fst and imported the records which are displaying. Recreated fst, advanced and .def (IAH).

i can do all the tasks i.e. create new records and save, edit BUT the database is not searchable or does not show the title index.

other databases from the same winisis are functioning normally.

where am i getting it wrong.
