[Isis-users] Multiple occurrences

Renate,

what you are asking for will require additional programming (for that specific type of field) but another solution is to limit the display of the field by only showing specific occurrences of the field, e.g. v980[1] will only show the first occurrence of the field. I don't think v980[1-5] will be possible (not provided in CISIS) but e.g.
("Operator: "v980, if iocc > 3 then break fi),
would limit to only the first 3 occurrences.

Subject: [Isis-users] Multiple occurrences

Hi,

I sometimes use a filed in ABCD databases which will automatically add the user and the system date and time into the field for who and when the record was created. It is defined as non-repeatable, but in spite of this it will add more and more occurrences with every editing of the record.
Is it possible to limit the number of times when it adds the user and the date and time to for example 5.
It does not look very nice when there is a long list.

Any suggestion?

Thanks
Renate
