[Isis-users] Problem in Data Base of ABCD

English :
the database is completely locked and needs to be unlocked; since it cannot be entered anymore within ABCD, the unlock tool of the toolbar-utilities can not be used. In the new versions (1.4 and 2.0b) there is a utility however in the main menu 'utilities' submenu which can do the trick. This utility actually creates the command, supposing 'mydb' is the name of the database : 
\ABCD\www\cgi-bin\retag mydb unlock (for Windows) 
/opt/ABCD/www/cgi-bin/retag mydb unlock (for Linux)
So these commands can also be given from the command-line (CMD or Terminal) to do the same, i.e. unlock the database.


French : 
la base de données a été verrouillé complètement, mais en vue du fait que elle ne peut plus être accédée par ABCD, les outils de déverrouilage internes d'ABCD ne peuvent plus être utilisés. Dans les nouvelles versions (1.4 ou 2.0b) il y a un outil dans le sub-menu 'outils  du menu principal qui peut le faire néanmoins. Cet outil en effet construit la commande ('mydb' étant le nom de la b.d. donc doit être substitué par le vrai nom) : 
\ABCD\www\cgi-bin\retag mydb unlock (pour Windows) 
/opt/ABCD/www/cgi-bin/retag mydb unlock (pour Linux)

Alors ces commandes peuvent être lancés également depuis la ligne de commande (CMD ou Terminal) pour faire la même chose, c-à-d déverrouiller la b.d.

hello sir,
I'm Laila, libririan in agronomic institut of Rabat Morocco.
I used ABCD1.2beta. It works well but still i have a problem: From the main menu, I can't access to the data entry menu when I select frensh or english. All my database files are under fr and en sub fold of Def.

this is the message in French and English

"Base de données Verrou exclusif en écriture=1. Contacter l'administrateur des bases de données pour déverrouiller "

"Database exclusive write lock=1. Contact the Database administrator for unlocking
Warning... missing file /abcd/www/bases/pascon2/def/en/pascon2.pft"
