[Isis-users] Is there a command to lock/unlock a database?

I'm working on some maintenance scripts for ABCD version 1.4 on Linux.

During reorgs and backups I think it would be best to temporary lock/freeze
the database,

and unlock the database again when the maintenance is finished.

 

Is there a command that can be put into a script or batchfile to lock and
unlock the whole database

(as opposed to unlocking individual records which could be done with the
retag command)?
