[Isis-users] Fatal error on XP emulation

Colleagues,

I have been running Winisis successfully for a while on a Windows XP
SP 3 virtual machine under Win 7 Pro. Today Winisis crashed when
trying to save a new display format, endlessly displaying that it
can't find the FDT file. I occasionally had that before on on an XP
machine, and killing the NTVDM process then always helped without
problems.

Now on the virtual XP, I had problems doing that, but I eventually
managed to kill the NTVDM.exe process. But now Winisis doesn't run
anymore, when I start it I get the message "The WIN 16 subsystem has
insufficient resources to continue running", etc. Rebooting does not
help. Googling the error message does bring up some rather weird
recipes from long ago, nothing concerning virtual XP.

Does anybody have experience with this?
Should I uninstall and re-install the virtual machine, maybe?
(I have backup of the databases.)
