[Isis-users] Error en inicio-main.php - A HAPPY UPDATE

Amig at s, me complace informar que ya conseguí resolver más o menos el
problema que tenía con la instalación de ABCD2 con XAMPP después de varias
vueltas.

Era problema de dll y rutas, supongo. Poco a poco fueron desapareciendo las
anomalías a medida que iba afinando la puntería.

El módulo Central está funcionando. Aunque todavía aparezcan algunos
mensajes de error php en los submódulos, la funcionalidad funciona. Pude
agregar una base nueva (ya desarrollada en otra instalación).

Prometo sistematizar los resultados finales, he ido tomando pantallazos de
cada situación.

Y me falta tratar con YAZ y otros detalles que no me son inmediatamente
prioritarios.

Ahora el problema siguiente es conseguir que las bases muestren los
caracteres acentuados correctos. La interfaz ya lo hace y se ve bien.
Primero quiero poner a trabajar iAH/SIte con mi base nueva, y cuando
funcione, me dedicaré a los caracteres.

Dear friends, I'm happy to tell that I have managed to solve most of the
ABCD2/XAMPP problems, after much tinkering.

Central module is working, although showing some php error messages, but
the basic functionality functions.
I have even added a database (made under another ABCD installation).

It was mostly a question of dlls and paths, I presume.

Still I have to work on YAZ and other not so prioritary features.

I promise to systematize my results at the end, I have taken notes and made
a lot of screenshots of the situations as they came up.

Now my task is to configure the new database in iAH/Site. Then I can
concentrate on getting accents right. On the interface itself the
diacriticals on labels and menus show well, but the databases come up with
different character salads, except MARC that renders accents as it should
be.

It was an exhausting weekend, but well worth it.
