Hola,

se puede agregar en los PFT's la parte 'servidor' del URL para los enlaces (links) hacia los documentos digitales.
El campo en el registro de la b.d. contiene el nombre del fijero, pero la parte 'fija' del URL (el servidor y camino raís) se pone en el PFT y entonces puede ser calquier dirección.
Obviamente la performancia de estos enlaces sería dependiente de la velodicad del red. Cuando vemos los resultados casí immediatos de tantos 'web-services' en tantas páginas web con tantos enlaces externos, la performancia pueda ser muy bien de hecho.
