Hi,

in order to solve your problem we need some more details : 
- are you using Windows or Linux ? The screenshot shows a Windows-based command (/ABCD/cgi-bin/retag being the ISIS-executable to unlock the database)
- which version of ABCD are you using ?
In fact such info is always needed in order to get relevant help.

Unlocking a database will always be possible from the command-line, in the case of Linux provided that sufficient rights are granted to the user.
For Linux the command would be (in Debian-based environment) : 
sudo /opt/ABCD/www/cgi-bin/retag /var/opt/ABCD/bases/loanobjects/data/loanobjects unlock
which means : 
- calling the ISIS executable 'retag' from the ABCD cgi-bin folder (in the new version is should be /opt/ABCD/www/cgi-bin/ansi/retag by the way)
- naming the full path and database name to be acted on
- adding the parameter 'unlock' in order to use this feature of retag (which is actually meant to do mostly other things like retagging field-numbers).

With this information you should also be able to solve the problem in Windows. But we are still interested in the details if the problem of 'process not executed' originates from the (new in ABCD 2.0) unlocking script in 'utilities', since this sript should have taken into account all this.

Hi,
 I'm Anselmo Matavele from Mozambique, I have a big problem with ABCD.

We start the loan process some time ago, but from now we can't see the list of barcodes in the loan mode, and if I try to insert the sistem say's that the book doesn't exist.

I went to the loanobjects databese  and  I saw an ERROR " Database Write exclusive lock = 1. Contact your database administrator to unlock"  I tryed to unlock but got another ERRO "process NOT EXECUTED"

El editor de picklist tiene un problema con el carácter &, como explico en el ejemplo

Supongamos que tengo un título de revista:   Derecho & Administración

entonces si uso el editor de picklist del ABCD guarda el término como  Derechos & Administración

Si edito la tabla  revistas.tab manualmente funciona bien en la hoja de ingreso, el problema está en el editor html de las tablas

sugiero usar un instrucción de escape para los caracteres reservados del html

There is a version of 2.0 on the server http://abcd.netcat.be/files which is actually only the www-folder. You need to install this version along with e.g. WAMP, XAMPP or EasyPHP. The 'virtual-host' configuration file to be put in the virtual-hosts folder of the Apache of that package (e.g. conf/extra in WAMP) is part of the download. So the installation is now very similar to the one in Linux and only one package is distributed for both platforms but with separate folders for cgi-bin and the demo-databases.

However since we experienced some problems with the standard circulation module I cannot recommend this for now (until Guilda Ascencio has time to check it) if you use circulation.
