[Isis-users] calender

Egbert,
I was attempting to implement an alternative way for the (simple) loan: not only an entry field for the number of days but also an entry field where one can enter a date. In that case it would help if a calendar was provided. The entry worksheet for loans then could look like this:
Accession number [entry box] list
Borrower number [entry box] list
Number of days [entry box] or date due [entry box for ISO date] calendar

Piet,
actually 'the following script' as announced is indeed there, it is the Javascript included in the next line there. This is necessary in order to be able to call any of the functions (there are only two of them in that script) in any of the subsequent scripts, but it looks like never these functions are called for.
Probably - but only Guilda, the original programmer for these scripts as for most Central scripts can confirm - the calendar-scripts are just inherited from the more general PHP/Javascript code-libraries, or the idea of providing a help-function with the calendar was never implemented in ABCD.
What kind of help would you expect from the calendar-function ?

Subject: [Isis-users] calender
Dear colleages,
In the following script of ABCD:
...\central\circulation\prestar.php
you can read this comment:
<!-- the following script defines the Calendar.setup helper function, which makes
adding a calendar a matter of 1 or 2 lines of code. -->
Has anyone already implemented this calender, i.e. has anyone written those "1 or 2 lines of code"...? If so, I would very much like to see them.
