Hi,

thanks for alerting me.
I will re-build and re-submit, by next Wednesday, the file but probably after again changing some few files with (minor) bugs. Most 'bugs' still relate to the 'short_open_tag' setting in PHP (php.ini), e.g. in the statistics module, meaning that if you switch it on the problems won't be there in the first place.

Subject: [Isis-users] ABCD installation package "Debian 2.0f package (April 2018 update)" might be corrupt

Hello, I just downloaded file ABCD_Linux_amd64.deb, from website
http://abcd.netcat.be/files/downloads.html
with description "Debian 2.0f package (April 2018 update) without Apache/PHP
to be installed with 'dpkg -i'".

Unfortunately, installing this package on 64-bit Ubuntu 16.04 LTS fails with
the following messages:

root at pdub16:/nvbsdata/abcd2# dpkg -i ABCD_Linux_amd64.deb
(Reading database ... 242457 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to unpack ABCD_Linux_amd64.deb ...
Unpacking abcd (2.0f) over (2.0f) ...
dpkg-deb (subprocess): cannot copy archive member from
'ABCD_Linux_amd64.deb' to decompressor pipe: unexpected end of file or
stream
dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste returned error exit status 2
dpkg: error processing archive ABCD_Linux_amd64.deb (--install):
 cannot copy extracted data for
'./opt/ABCD/empweb/common/ext/mysql-connector-java-3.1.12-bin.jar'
 to
'/opt/ABCD/empweb/common/ext/mysql-connector-java-3.1.12-bin.jar.dpkg-new':
unexpected end of file or stream
Errors were encountered while processing:
 ABCD_Linux_amd64.deb

Further evidence: Inspecting the file ABCD_Linux_amd64.deb with 7zip on
Windows gives a "data error"
for the data.tar.gz component within the ABCD_Linux_amd64.deb file:
expected size is 293083489 bytes, but 7zip can only extract 291898170 bytes.

Would it be possible to build a new ABCD_Linux_amd64.deb package?

Regards,
Freek Heite.
