[Isis-users] next page error

I noted one anomaly immediately in your ARTICLE.def : the default index (the one used for the simple search) is missing.

There should be exactly one such index, identified by a value ^d* .

I can't easily check further but this could indeed be the cause.

Hi,

Actually, I am not using the 'ref(l())' function in my format (pft) and no error message is displayed on the page. I also tried lowering the number of records to be shown but still got the same result.

I have attached my PFT and DEF files for your assessment.

Thank you.

This is not a known bug of iAH to us...

We know of a problem whenever a certain number of records have been shown which use intensive 'ref(l())' statements in the PFT : the next pages won't show up because in fact an error message has been shown (something like 'maxrefs limit') at the bottom of the page.

Please check for such message and then lower the number of records to be shown on one single page - or try to avoid unnecessary use of that ref(l()) function.

If that is not your problem, it will become very tricky since we have no experience with this issue. My first suggestion would be to check the .def file of your database (the configuration file for iAH for that specific database). If anything is wrong there the behavior can become weird.

Dear Colleagues;

First of all, I would like to thank all of you who took time to answer my inquiries and problems. I did exactly what you guys told me and I finally got rid of the search errors and my database works fine now. But not without this error again...My search result displays 25 documents per page but when the hits exceeded 25, the Next Page button (go to page) would bring me to the Advanced Form and not to the next 25 documents.

Need some answers to resolve this problem

Thank you.

Francisco
