[Isis-users] IsisAscii

This is very old software, even UNESCO no longer maintained their page on this.

However for importing 'delimited' files (mostly CSV or 'comma-delimited') you can use the CISIS-utility mx (included in ABCD-distribution) or even ABCD itself. That is much more powerful/faster.
Change the comma to e.g. '|' (the vertical pipe) as a field-separator and mx will directly import the data into an ISIS-database (or ISO-file if you prefer) in one single command, e.g.

mx seq=mycsv.csv create=mydb now -all .

If instead of '|' you use e.g. '~', add it in the command as follows :

mx seq=mycsv.csv~ create=mydb now -all,

so it works with many separators.
