[Isis-users] Wrong link to uploaded images in ABCD2.0f

Leo,

When I wrote the answer to your mail I did not check it on my server. To make things clear I checked it now on my (Windows) PC. What I meant was (if you compare it to the Windows situation):

  * The images for a database called e.g. catalog shoud be in: C:\ABCD\www\htdocs\bases\catalog\
  *   Not in: C:\ABCD\www\bases\catalog\images\

Leo,

If you refer to your images in iaH using the following command in your PFT

<img src="../common/show_image.php?image='

your images should be in /bases/<dbn> [<dbn>= name of your database, to be created by you]

and not in the normal path in which your database is located, although in there you will find a folder /bases too. If you want to use this one for your images instead, you should refer to it in your PFT the way you normally refer to files on your server.

Dear Leo,

as a first quick reaction : normally all links are created by the ISIS-PFT, also in iAH. So the path-part of the link to the PDF's should also be there, allowing you to change it yourself, no ?

If I am mistaken, I will look into it in more detail.

Subject: [Isis-users] Wrong link to uploaded images in ABCD2.0f

LS,

I have a UTF8 test setup with ABCD2.0f on Ubuntu18.04.

The database works as expected. Now I am trying to get IAH working.

The meta data works as expected but the link to the uploaded images is wrong.

It shows myIP:9090/cgi-bin/bases/…. instead of myIP:9090/htdocs/bases/…. as expected.

In the browser HTML it shows as <img src=”../../../../bases….. like in ABCD1 but it the result is differently.

Is there something wrong in my configurations files?

Greetings,

Leo Riesthuis
