Instructions on how to install additional PHP-modules (as such they don't have anything to do with ABCD) can be found in the internet, e.g. search the WWW for something like "php windows how to install mbstring".

Yes, some efforts have to be done if you want to use an advanced, complicated software like ABCD.

It goes without saying that v2.2b is the beta (= non-definitive) version of 2.2. We recommend waiting for the official release without 'beta' unless you know what you do and are prepared to find out about some issues yourself.

The good news however is that the new package gets smoother (and e.g. easier to install) every day.

Where do I put them in the configuration file?
mbstring, gd or gd2, etc , also where  is ABCD 2.2 , I only see ABCD2.2b
