Hello,
I defined a “Hidden” and “Read only” input type fields in a database. I have noticed that I can enter data into both fields, in new record and while modifying an existing one. For the hidden field, the field name is not displayed on the worksheet; only the line to input text in is shown. I think that they are not working as intended. Indeed, in the manual ABC of ABCD 2f, it is written on page 42: “Read-only is a field which will not be editable after it has been entered as it is read-only”. “Hidden: a field which will not be shown after having been entered”.
For the Read only field, I was expecting a field to add data in through the Begin validation format; so the content should be shown on the worksheet but should not be editable, as the operator date field type. For the hidden one, I was expecting something like the hidden properties of HTML form.
I would like to know if I did something wrong.

Best
