[Isis-users] Winisis problems

Dear all
I am still running Winisis on a Windows virtual PC (under Windows 7
Professional) because of its unique versatility. Lately I have problems
with Winsis shutting down unpredictably (see attached screenprint),
especially on a large and quite complex database, mostly (but not
exclusively) while saving a new entry. Afterwards, the entry is saved but
locked and has to be unlocked manually with advanced utilities.
Re-installing Winisis does not help. Exporting and re-importing the
database does not help. Revising and recreating the data entry format from
scratch does not help. The antivirus (Bitdefender) does not find anything
suspicious. I never had such a problem before.
Could it be that a recent Windows update created the problem? I was anyway
suspicious because Microsoft has stopped maintaining Windows 7 long ago but
have a vague memory that I allowed an update recently during a reboot,
Has anybody experienced a similar problem?
Regards
