I am sending you the instructions in English on behalf of many of
our colleagues that cannot read Spanish<br>
<hr size="2" width="100%"><b>How to prepare iAH translations</b><br>
<br>
iAH interface v.3.x comes in four languages: en, en, pt, fr<br>
<br>
Enabled languages are recorded in the file: <font face="Courier
New, Courier, monospace"><big>
C:\ABCD\www\htdocs\iah\scripts\iah.def.php</big></font><br>
in the line: <font face="Courier New, Courier, monospace"><big>AVAILABLE
LANGUAGES=pt, es, en, fr<br>
</big></font><br>
The order of the language statement is the order they appear in the
interface as enabled <br>
and the order (1, 2, 3 ... ) should be indicated as the subfields:
^1 ^2 ...<br>
in the file <big><font face="Courier New, Courier, monospace"><BASE>.def </font></big>
found in the directory indicated in the line<br>
<font face="Courier New, Courier, monospace"><big>PATH_DEF=/ABCD/www/bases/par/ </big></font>
(example for ABCD)<br>

iAH has a set of 31 structural files for each language with
extensions.pft y .htm located in<font face="Courier New, Courier,
monospace"><big> C:\ABCD\www\htdocs\iah\scripts\<lang></big></font><br>
<br>
If you want to add a new language, such as Catalan (indicated by the
ISO code CA), you should follow the following steps<br>
<br>
1) Make a new folder for the new language: <big><font
face="Courier New, Courier, monospace">C:\ABCD\www\htdocs\iah\scripts\ca</font></big><br>
<br>
2) Go to the directory <font face="Courier New, Courier,
monospace"><big>C:\ABCD\www\htdocs\iah\scripts\translate</big></font><br>
there you should create a file ca.txt containing the seed texts
used to generate the needed new 31 files<br>
For that, copy one of the existent files as a modle, for
example <b>es.txt</b> <br>
<font face="Courier New, Courier, monospace"><big>copy
es.txt ca.txt</big></font><br>
<br>
3) Edit <b>ca.txt</b> with a common editor likle notepad<br>
<br>
This new file has a total of 89 lines, where to the left side of the
<b>= </b>sign is the term encoded in English and at the right of <b>=
</b>sign has the word or phrase translated into another language.
Preserve the terms on the left side, do the translation for the
new language on the right side and save the file when you finished<br>
<br>
4) En el directorio ..\translate existen varios archivos .bat del
tipo translate2<lang>.bat<br>
copie uno de ellos con el nombre correspondiente al nuevo idioma,<br>
por ejemplo copy translate2es.bat translate2ca.bat<br>

4) In the directory <font face="Courier New, Courier, monospace"><big>..
\ translate</big></font> there are a number of .bat files like

one for each language<br>
again, copy one of them, example <b>translate2es.bat </b>with
a new name<br>

5) Edit this file <b>translate2ca.bat</b><br>
and customize the script according to new new language, in this
case all references to es should change to ca<br>

6) Now you have all in place to run the translation process, run <b>
translate2ca.bat</b><br>
when finished you'll find the new 31 strctural files of IAH
created in corresponding<br>

If you find later, anytime, mistakes or typos, edit the ca.txt file
and run again <b>traslate2ca.bat</b> and you will fix the
installation<br>
