<div>The problem is not Windows 7: I can run Winisis prefectly on my Windows 7 laptop. The problem is probably that your PC is a 64 bit machine (mine still is 32 bit). In that case Winisis will not run anymore. You may consider an alternative like J-Isis.</div>

I am glado you solved the problem with your inverted file<br>
According you tell me this problem happens when you cut & paste text into the winisis fileld<br>
this is because the text in the word processor contains some hidden chars and this causes the trouble<br>
The right way to do this is to copy the texto into Notepad (which cleans the text from hidden chars)
<br>
and then from Notepad you copy to Winisis<br>

You have in your database at least 9831 records according to the figure, therefore I assume this database was workiing for a long time, but you have a problem now,<br>
According to the message (postread/check/xblk) you have a problem with your Inverted File, maybe it is corrupted<br>
So, my first advise is to generate a Full Inversion of your database<br>
