Hi,
no, sometimes ^b is absent. I changed the FST and made it conditional:
if a(v600^b) then |BI_|v600^a|%| else |BI_|v600^a,|, |v600^b|%|/ fi)
It is alphabetical now, but some have the comma between ^a and ^b, some not.
Why is is that the search does not has this problem, only when using it as authority in data entry?
Thanks
Hi,

No, the data is ok. When I click on it to copy it to the field, there are no spaces or other characters before or after the subfields.
This is a problem with the fst and with the data.
I am not indexing a subfield, but all the fields in the field, e.g.

1 0 (|BI_|v600^a,|, |v600^b|%|/)

and still the order is not fully alphabetical.
In the autoridades file:
case 600: v600^a,|, |v600^b'$$$'mpl,v600

in the .def file: DB BI_ @author.pft

Is something wrong with the above?

Thanks
2) if you are indexing subfields to be used as authority list you must use different prefixes as well as differents id's in the fst for the exact identification in the authority format. It means that each subfield have to be indexed in separated lines and don't forget to add the '%' at the end of the format
Hi,

I have tested those areas which gave problems before:

Data entry with lookup table

When using the lookup table during data entry, fields which do not have subfields now work ok, but when the field has subfields, the list is not displayed in alphabetical order. I have indexed these fields with a different prefix, but the problem persists. see screen dump.

Circulation: From Borrower statement the 'return' button now works, but not the renew.

Will do more testing.
