<div>your executables for 32-bits actually are CISIS version 5.2e, not that old. If I need to recompile them to make sure they are at the latest stage it will take some time (and efforts) but I suppose Bireme has them ready on their GIT-repository, please check.</div>
<div>Actually it is their job to maintain the CISIS executables as they also use them for their BVS system.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>If you change to Linux 64-bits, you simply have to use the Debian installer package for ABCD which mentiones amd64 in its name, but ALL Debian packages actually include both versions of the executables : in the amd64-version they are in ABCD/www/cgi-bin
whereas the 32-bits versions are in ABCD/www/cgi-bin32 and vice versa. So by simply renaming the cgi-bin directories you can make a 32-bits version 64-bits or again v.v.<br>

these files are 32-bits executables.<br>
But we need to know, e.g. by typing the following simple command :<br>
file /sbin/ifconfig<br>
whether your system is 32 or 64 bits.<br>
In fact I am not planning to support Linux 32-bits anymore since it is becoming rather rare.<br>
So if your system is 32-bits, you will need updated versions of CISIS 32-bits. I can check for the most recent ones.<span><br>

<div>sorry but no, the idea is not to run the executables (which gives their internal info) but to really run the command 'file mx' ('file' being the command and mx being the file to work on) in order to get the following type of information :
</div>
<div>(e.g. for firefox executable) : </div>
<div>firefox : ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64, version 1 (... etc....)</div>
<div>indicating clearly whether 32 or 64 bits.<br>
</div>
<div>Best to do this with a system-executable, e.g. /sbin/ifconfig and then re-do the same command 'file' on the mx or wxis you use to compare. You can run 32-bits mx on 64-Debian e.g. but not the other way around.<span><br>
