<div>yes, you can use - just before mentioning the name of the database - either mono/mast/full to define mono-user, multi-user and multi-user with full write-access (slowing down processes a bit) in any command of mx (CISIS).</div>

<p class="MsoNormal">I'm working on some maintenance scripts for ABCD version 1.4 on Linux.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">During reorgs and backups I think it would be best to temporary lock/freeze the database,</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">and unlock the database again when the maintenance is finished.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Is there a command that can be put into a script or batchfile to lock and unlock the whole database</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">(as opposed to unlocking individual records which could be done with the retag command)?</p>
