Dear Guilda,

Thank you very much for this adaptions, but I think we are talking about a different structure here: I based my manual on the Agrovoc thesaurus structure (see FDT and FST attached): there is no v12 here. When you have a record for a non-preferred term it
only contains the non-preferred term (v8) and the referrence to the preferred term, i.e. then USE, which is v3 (or equivalents in other languages, e.g. in v103 etc.).

I now manage (with some modification to the .dat file) to get a perputated list showing something like this:

<span style="font-family: "Courier New",monospace;">CHILDREN

<span style="font-family: "Courier New",monospace;"> migrant CHILDREN

<span style="font-family: "Courier New",monospace;"> CHILDRENS art

<span style="font-family: "Courier New",monospace;">

which is basically OK. When selected, the correct term is inserted (e.g. "migrant children" and not "migrant CHILDREN", which is OK too).

But: when starting the thesaurus, the buttons "aflabetico" and "permutado" don't show any more, so I am somewhere limited to the alfabetical display, which can only be changed be first choosing
a term to see in full. Also the non-preferred terms are not showing in the alfabetical list: they should show, but e.g. in italics, so that you know they are non-fererred terms and, if you select them anyhow, you should then retrieve the preferred terms instead.

Dear Piet.

Now you can select the non-preferred term and abcd will send the preferred term. For doing so please change in the thesaurus database folder (def/[LANGUAGE] the file tesau.dat that now must contain:

alpha_prefix=TE_
perm_prefix=PER_
alpha_pft=v8,if p(v12) then '|'v12 fi
display=ficha

alpha_pft has changed and now it recovers the preferred term. (assuming that the non-preferred term is in v8 and the referred term is in v12.

The problem with the terms in lowercase was because the permuted word, recovered from the inverted file is in uppercase. For solving that issue now the comparation is case-independent. I have an additional problem related with diacritics because in the inverted
file the diacritics are changed via the isisuc,tab so I need to refine to procedure of finding in the the string the permuted word. I'll work on it.

Please place both scripts in the central\tesaurus folder and let me know if is ok.

Regards
