já consegui resolver a maioria dos problemas que encontrei com a instalaçao sobre linux. so nao consegui fazer funcionar a estatistica no modulo central. mas dentro do dataentry funciona.</div>

I would like to go back to the previous message as it is very intriguing to<br>
me and I can not find out why ABCD (Version 1.5.1 - Linux), eventually,<br>
does not save the data of an edited record.<br>
None of the possible reasons you mentioned have been confirmed, that is:<br>
- Database is not corrupted<br>
- Database/records were not locked<br>
- FST dit'n have error and works OK<br>
- The server has no writing problem.<br>
The situation is as follows:<br>
a) Records are created in a distributed form - which we call pre-cataloging<br>
b) Some days later, documentalists do the review, editing the records and<br>
adding some new fields.<br>
c) The edited records were usually saved, presenting no error or alert<br>
message<br>
d) Recently it was verified that in many of these edited records, the added<br>
data (new added fields) were not saved, since they are only with the data,<br>
entered when the record was created.<br>
I would like to ask if there is any possibility and, if there is, in what<br>
situation it can occur, that ABCD dit'n save an edited record?<br>

Records in precat format are saved; this means there is nothing wrong in principle: data can be saved. The problem occurs when you add data. We saw this once using the very large MARC format. The origin of the problem could be found in the value of max_input_vars
in php.ini: initially it is on 1000. Put a higher value here, e.g. 5000 and try again.<br>
