<p>ABCD only offers a 'sort key' input box in the reports-generator. That is possibly not advanced enough for the purposes you envisage. ABCD being mostly a library system the idea is that is what librarians would need mostly.</p>
<p>Possibly the only solution for your goal is to use J-ISIS (which however requires export/import via the ISO-2709 format), which more than ABCD tries to reflect the capabilities of the old WinISIS. J-ISIS is not a library system but indeed an even more general
manager for ISIS-databases which include such more scientifically oriented purposes like production of (printed) indexes.<br>
