Today's softwares with their multi-platform-, networking/security- etc. challenges are no longer the simple one-button-installations we used to have. But suggestions to make installation, not the system itself, simpler for libraries with low IT-skills and ditto resources are most welcome. </div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;" class="">We also believe that once a librarian made the necessary efforts to study (by reading the manuals...) the software and its configuration, an one-time-effort, the management and use of the system will benefit for a longer time. Me refiero a expandir su uso en AWS y ayudar a otras bibliotecas. En el caso mi propuesta es si usted podrían preparar algún tipo de entrenamiento o curso para que las bibliotecas puedan instalarlo en AWS. De esa manera el ABCD podría expandir su uso. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Como usted sabe muchas bibliotecas aun no pueden pagar a un informático para que les ayude a instalar el ABCD o pagar por los grandes sistemas automatizados que se usan en el mundo. AWS representa una opción mas económica. También así se ayudaría al ABCD a tener mas presencia. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">En mi experiencia soy bibliotecario-informático desde los años 2000. He usado y ayudado a otras bibliotecas a usar CDS-ISIS, WINISIS, GENISISCD, GENISISWEB, WXIS, ABCD, etc. Estoy viendo que otros sistemas automatizados están ganando espacio y considero que ABCD sigue siendo una buena opción para las bibliotecas, pues esta pensado para ellos. Yo vivía en Cuba y se que hay bibliotecas allá que necesitan esa ayuda. Así en Latinoamerica.
