The problem is here that for each language an FDT is present.<br>
Side effects of that situation are:<br>
<ul>
<li>The language in that FDT can be different from the language
that you have chosen.<br>
The FDT of a language resides in
<databasename>/def/<language_acronym><br>
Ideally the language in that FDT matches with the language
acronym (the chosen language)</li>
<li>The FDT files of these languages can be different:</li>
<ul>
<li>Ideally only the values in the third column (Title/field
name) should be different between these languages</li>
<li>The Help button appears if in the FDT the checkbox for the
Help/Ayuda is checked (column 17)</li>
<li>The number of fields and and tags and the sequence can be
different</li>
</ul>
<li>Even if the help button appears there should be a help file in
the corresponding help folder for that language with the correct
name (leading zero's)</li>
</ul>
You can imagine that a lot of mismatches can and will occur.<br>
As far as I know nobody has ever created check scripts to help in
solving problems due to these mismatches.<br>
I will put it on my list of todo's (no date 🙂)<br>
If you feel an urge to improve the database files in GIT: feel free.
Will be appreciated<br>
If you have ideas for a check script: please share them<br>

<div dir="ltr">Saludos amigos de ISIS-L. Estoy explorando la base
de datos ISAD-G en ABCD y me encuentro que en el formato de
entrada de datose en español que tiene por defecto. No aparecen
los botones que al presionarlos, llevarian a los mensajes de
ayuda para cada campo. Extrañamente para idioma portugues SI
aparecen esos botones ( aunque no muestra el mensaje de ayuda
porque no esta disponible la carpera con los mensajes de ayuda
en protugues pero eso es otro problema).
