Which links for downloading the ABCD-software did you use and found not to work ? 
Normally you have to download the full installation package plus the latest available patch. After unzipping the full package you can then unzip the patch-archive over the existing installation to apply it. That is all.
In most cases - except for PC's with special set-ups - ABCD then works, certainly for assessing its basic capabilities.
