[Isis-users] ABCD en Linux el SITE

Dear all

Just complementing the previous message. Different distributions of Linux have different approach on where to put Apache2 and/or PHP.

For Apache, some of them may be set to /var/www/httpd or /etc/httpd or /usr/bin/httpd, just to cite a few.

It is more suitable to execute the following line to discover where the Apache has been installed and is running:

ps -ef |grep apache

Hope this helps

the Apache2 binary executable (which in Windows goes in the bin-folder of the Apache installation folder) is in /usr/sbin but you don't need to go there at all.
The extensions folder in Linux for PHP is /usr/lib/php5/20060613/ but the last part of this path can be different according to the PHP-version.
As I can't see the Site page except for the small first part of it in your atached image, is it fully wrongly formatted, meaning there is e.g. no search-box with a search submit-button ?

localhost/site, no localhost/htdocs/site.

I suppose you have put the bases-folder with user-rights 777 ('sudo chmod -R
777 bases' from within the ABCD/www folder) ?

How exactly does the error show up ? When e.g. you have a database which is
readable but not writable, it will display but once you ask for a worksheet
to edit a record, it will be empty.

missing user rights
O sea no tengo permisos.

¿Alguna sugerencia?
Saludos

---------------
Hello to all
I installed the ABCD again in Ubuntu 10.10
But any version that I place, the new ones, the previous ones - that keeps -
tells me when I try to open any base

missing user rights
That is to say I don't have permits.

Already grant them, with sudo nautilus, and my pass, permits for my same
one, of everything:
it notarizes and reading
To create and to eliminate files.

I have not been able to open any base for three days. I arrive until there.
I configured the following files
bvs-site-conf.php
iah.def.php
config.php

Should I play something more?
apache2 and php5 installl in etc /
And another folder apache2 this inside the folder php5
Some suggestion?
Greetings
