[Isis-users] Problem with search

At first glance I note that all 0-result titles contain the word 'AND' , which is a boolean operator. Those titles should be quoted.

Subject: RE: [Isis-users] Problem with search

Dear Edwin,

Yes, I have deleted a lot from the Winisis database, especially in title fields: alle quotation marks, and also all hooks < > around the stopwords used in Title fields, but I kept the stopword file in the /data folder of the database.
So, the alphabetical order of Titles (TI_) is now good.
Indeed I see that it takes the 60 characters including prefix.
All accents etc. are good in the text of the fields of the records. And search on words with accents goes well for searches on TW_ (fst index method 8), using the index.

Unfortunately, the problem that some titles do not show up in the results is still there, when I search using the index of Title.

FST for the title fields 12 and 18 (for line):
12 5 '/TI_/',(v12/)
12 5 '/TI_/',(v18/)

When I do not use index and I type the first word of a title (and putting $ behind it) in the search form in the field for Title the result is good: For instance:
culicoides$
gives good result with 4 records.

See here some examples of searches using the index of Title, with 0 results and with good results.
See you something what the problem is?

Kind regards,
Mia

Examples of searches:

Expression: (TI_POLYCHLORINATED BIPHENYL (PCB) AND DICHLORDIPHENYL DICHLO)

Text of title in record (field 12):
12 Title:: Polychlorinated Biphenyl (PCB) and Dichlordiphenyl Dichloroethylene (DDE) concentrations in the breast milk of woman in Quebec
