[Isis-users] Global changes permission

Wether an operator is allowed or not to use global changes fully depends on the profile s/he is in. One can define profiles with global changes authorisation but without full administration rights. It requires creating new profiles from the existing demo-examples.

Subject: [Isis-users] Global changes permission

Dear colleagues,

In both ABCD version 1.1 and 1.2t giving a user the Global Changes permission works only if he/she also gets the Database Utilities permission.

This gives the user the possibility to initialize and delete the database etc. even if you only want to give him permission to do a global change.

Is this a bug or a feature?

Greetings,

Leo Riesthuis
