[Isis-users] About questions and answers to the list - English &Spanish text

Hola  
En realidad quizá si nos mudaramos de acá se perderia la humanización que existe en esta lista.  
Sabemos, los conocemos: acá hay personas que responden, que preguntan, que comparten...  
Quizá no está muy claro dónde están las cosas y/o no agendan que hay Wikis tanto de Guilda como de Bireme para consultar o buscar soluciones. Entonces pasa que en el 2013 vuelven a preguntar si Winisis funciona en el Windows 7... o de dónde bajarse el ABCD  
Muchas veces escribo respuestas que no envio porque mientras busco los datos, traduzco.... alguien respondio y mejor que yo.  
En fin, creo que en realidad los "habituales" siempre estamos leyendo... muchos solo ingresan cuando necesitan algo y ahi el mal: suponen "obligación" de hacer o solucionar las cosas, cuando en realidad estamos trabajando en forma rentada y tenemos, a veces, y tenemos mucho que hacer.

In fact maybe if we move of here  would get lost the humanization that exists in this list.  
We know, we know them: here there are people that respond that ask that share...  
It is not maybe very clear where the things and/or non agendan that there is so much Wikis of Guilda are like of Bireme to consult or to look for solutions. Then it passes that in the 2013 they ask again if Winisis works in the Windows 7... or from where to download the ABCD  
Many times I write answers that doesn't send because while I look for the data, I translate.... somebody responded and better than me.  
I believe that in fact those "habitual" we are always reading... many alone they enter when they need something and there the bad: they suppose "obligation" of to make or to solve the things, when in fact we are working in produced form and we have, sometimes, and we have much to make.

  Es un problema común en cualquier lista de correo de soporte que terminen sucediendo problemas como este. El conocimiento termina perdido en los archivos de la lista en forma de respuestas personalizadas, medias respuestas, y preguntas recurrentes sobre el mismo tema. Así mismo tal como mencionan María Mercedes y Ernesto, el reconocimiento a la fuente termina generalmente no existiendo, e incluso alguna vez se termina reclamado como deuda natural un servicio de consultoría gratuito.

  La solución técnica a este tipo de problemas pasa por algo más útil como recurso de conocimiento, y existe una plataforma pública llamada Stock Exchange en la que podríamos crear un sistema de preguntas y respuestas basadas en la comunidad, enfocado a resolución práctica de problemas, evitando duplicidades de respuestas, y reconociendo con un sistema de méritos a quienes poseen el conocimiento.

  ¿El único problema? Que la comunidad tiene que moverse hacia allí.

  ¿Alguien tiene algo que comentar al respecto?

  It is a commonly known problem in any support mailing list: we end up facing situations like the topic raised by Ernesto. Knowledge sometimes ends buried down in mailing list archives, or in personal replies out of the list, answers covering only part of the question, and of course infinite repetitions of the very same question over time. It is also common what both Ernesto and Maria Mercedes raised, when the source of knowledge is not recognized or even asked for a private, free of charge consultant service.

  There is however a technical solution for this kind of problems, based on something more useful as a knowledge exchange, which is an open platform called Stock Exchange, in which it is possible to create a Q&A system based on the community, focused on practical resolution of problems, avoiding duplicate questions and giving credit to people based on merit and community approval of answers.

  What's the only problem about that? The community has to move there.

  Any opinions?

    I believe that but clear: "water"  
    You lack to add that many times support has been given by this list and it has been completed with helps from our mail.  
    Besides having to ask if they received the work, mention is never made in the list that the problem you solves and thank you to "Juan or Pedro or other user"

      Dear Colleagues

      It is important to clarify some concepts of cooperation and how to share knowledge and experience in the ISIS list.

      Open Source software and knowledge sharing is the philosophical basis of the ISIS family, but this does not mean that people are forced to work for free in their professional lives. Which separates the problem into two areas: (1) the generous cooperation given in the list for the professional enrichment of the entire community, and (2) personal work that each one does as his own professional activity.

      This introduction is to express some ideas we've talked recently with Egbert, Guilda, and some other people whom I will not give their names without permission.

      In our case, we receive dozens of weekly consultations aimed at our personal emails, questions that would be important to all of us, no doubt. The same problems that also arise to many colleagues, solutions that can serve other people.

      However, we have taken our time to provide private consulting for months, and without the results being expressed here in the list as a collective and educational process for all.

      In conclusion, last week we have made a decision:

      Queries posted to our personal emails will be taken as professional consulting work and we'll ask to pay a fee for the service. No answer for free.

      If you want FREE answers, THEN questions should be sent to this list, and will be answered (if we know the solution) selflessly to the entire list.

      Personal questions will be charged, questions to the list are free. 
      Of course, personal or confidential matters may be sent to our personal emails.

      This is a space for collective construction of knowledge
      We hope you will understand us.

      Estimados Colegas

      Es importante aclarar algunos conceptos sobre la cooperación y la forma de compartir conocimientos y experiencia en la lista de ISIS.

      El software abierto y el intercambio de conocimientos es la base filosófica de la familia ISIS, pero esto no significa que las personas estén obligadas a trabajar gratis en su vida profesional. Lo cual separa el problema en dos ámbitos: (1) la cooperación generosa que se da en la lista para el enriquecimiento profesional de toda la comunidad, y (2) las tareas personales que tiene cada uno en su propia vida.

      Esta introducción es para expresar algunas ideas que hemos conversado recientemente con Egbert, Guilda, y algunas otras personas que no daré sus nombres sin autorización.

      En nuestro caso, recibimos docenas de consultas semanales dirigidas a nuestros correos personales, preguntas que son importantes para todos nosotros, sin duda. Problemas que también les surgen a los colegas, soluciones que pueden servir a otras personas.

      Sin embargo hemos dedicado tiempo personal para dar consultorías privadas durante meses sin que los resultados luego se expresen en esta lista y sea una construcción colectiva educativa para todos.

      En conclusión, en la semana pasada hemos tomado una decisión:

      Las consultas dirigidas a correos personales, las consideraremos trabajo de consultoría profesional y solicitaremos que se nos pague honorarios por el servicio. No contestaremos en forma gratuita.

      Si desean respuestas gratuitas, entonces TODAS las consultas deben enviarse a esta lista, y serán respondidas (si sabemos la solución) en forma desinteresada a toda la lista.

      Si es personal, entonces se cobra, si es en la lista será gratuita. 
      Naturalmente que asuntos privados o confidenciales podrán ser enviados a nuestros correos personales.

      Este es un espacio de construcción colectiva de conocimiento

      Espero que se nos entienda.
