[Isis-users] About questions and answers to the list - English &Spanish text

Estimados colisteros:

Dear listmates:

It is a commonly known problem in any support mailing list: we end up
facing situations like the topic raised by Ernesto. Knowledge sometimes
ends buried down in mailing list archives, or in personal replies out of
the list, answers covering only part of the question, and of course
infinite repetitions of the very same question over time. It is also
common what both Ernesto and Maria Mercedes raised, when the source of
knowledge is not recognized or even asked for a private, free of charge
consultant service.

There is however a technical solution for this kind of problems, based
on something more useful as a knowledge exchange, which is an open
platform called Stock Exchange, in which it is possible to create a Q&A
system based on the community, focused on practical resolution of
problems, avoiding duplicate questions and giving credit to people based
on merit and community approval of answers.

What's the only problem about that? The community has to move there.

Any opinions?
