Hi,

if you uploaded your ISO-file successfully, it will appear in the list of available files for importing in the 'utilities' screen of ABCD Central, option 'Import|ISO'.
Then click on the green 'tick'-box for your file and ABCD will ask you to confirm the import.
Since the import takes some time, if there are many records an Apache time-out might appear, in that case create several smaller exports and import them one by one.
Using the command-line import command of 'mx' you can do all this in a much faster way without the http-limits and -time-out.
Please read the chapter in the manual, in this case on 'database-management'.

Subject: [Isis-users] Load of the imported iso-file in a new created database

Hi, isis-users,

My problem is related to ABCD 1.2transitional (Windows).

I have created: 1) new database (named ‘catalo’),
                       2) new User Profile (named ‘imathkiev’ ),
                 and 3) new System Administrator (adm)
(named ‘ZGF’; in the row 2/9 of the corresponding Table from the
option ‘Users Administration’).

As a result there was the following information in the window
of the ABCD Main Menu :

                                 Database: catalo
                                     Last MFN: 0
                            CISIS version: /wxis.exe

Then I have imported ISO-file from my old database and obtained the following information:

0=com_7.iso
\ABCD\www\bases\wrk/com_7.iso
*** File \ABCD\www\bases\wrk/com_7.iso  Uploaded

As far as I understand the file ‘com_7.iso’ now is placed
in the folder ‘wrk’ and must be imported to database ‘catalo’.

My question:
What ABCD-options correspond to the cds/isis-options:
‘Database -> Import-> dialog box: ‘Import from ISO-2709 file’ - > Load’ ?

In other words:
How can I mount my new unempty ABCD-database from
my old cds/isis-database using ISO-file 'com_7.iso'
placed in the catalog ‘\ABCD\www\base\\wrk/’ ?

The best wishes, Gennady.
