[Isis-users] Data entry type and selection list type

Hello,

I have two databases that I would like to link.

I would like the content of field v12 of database A be selected from a list
fed by the content of field v10 of database B’s records.

Therefore, I entered the relevant options (according to me) from the
database definition interface. The related line in the fdt of db A is:

F|12|Name|0|0|||S|||D|dbB|TI=|@name.pft|||0||0|1|||

This line indicates that the data entry type is Single Selection (S), that
the selection type is D (Data base), that the source db is dbB, that the
terms with the prefix TI= should be read, displayed and transferred
according to the specifications in the format @name.pft

 In the data entry interface, I could open the pop-up window (in relation
with the field 12) where the DBB dictionary terms appear correctly. But what
I would like to get is the appearance of the dictionary terms in a  HTML
single selection list (as the option title suggests) and not in a
pop-window.

I would like to underline that the option works normally if the source is a
file instead of a database. Because the file option is static and on the
opposite the db one is dynamic, the relevant data source in my case is a
database.

 

Has someone encountered this case yet ? And how it is solved ? Or the
database option case is not compliant with the selection data entry type ?
