[Isis-users] MX utility

Hello all,

 

I have a database of 142,747 records and I want to delete all records with
the term 'pioj' . The search from Winisis yields 59775 records so its too
many to delete.

I tried the mx utility.

 

                  Mx dbase bool=pioj proc='d.'

 

Thought it would logically delete them so I could export/import to load back
the records I want to keep. The command runs but no effect when in Winisis
i.e. records with the term pioj are not flagged as logically deleted. 

 

Shed some light please. Thanks
