[Isis-users] Normas ISAD-G en ABCD 2.0

*Apreciados Colegas:*

Debido a los trabajos que se están realizando en la actualidad, de cara a
la versión 2.0 de ABCD, escribo en la lista a fin de poner a vuestra
consideración la posibilidad de incluir una Base de Datos, que incluya las
normas ISAD-G juntos con las otras pre-existentes (CEPAL, MARC, LILACS,
etc), para su utilización en distintos tipos de Archivos (De secretaría,
Central, Intermedio, Histórico), ya que he realizado pruebas con éste
standar archivistico y funciona a la perfección.

Creo que sería necesaria la aparición de un cuerpo normativo en ABCD, que
pueda estar dirigido de manera expresa para llevar a cabo la descripción de
los documentos de distintos tipos de Archivos. Con esto pienso que
estaríamos llenando un vacío existente (que alguna vez se pensó para ABCD,
pero nunca se pudo efectivizar), que cumpla criterio de Identificabilidad,
Uniformidad y Universalidad para el trabajo a realizar en éste tipo de
Unidades Documentales.

Para ello sugiero utilizar la versión de ISAD-G, adaptada por el Comité de
Normas de Descripción del CIA (Consejo Internacional de Archivos), del año
1999. Personalmente, creo que ABCD podría abrir sus horizontes hacias los
Archivos, y allí se encontraría con una vasta cantidad de potables nuevos
usuarios.

Espero sus comentarios y/o sugerencias. Y de necesitar más detalles, estoy
a vuestra disposición.

Due to the work being done today, facing the ABCD version 2.0, i write to
the list in order to bring to your consideration the possibility of
including a Data Base, including the standar ISAD-G with the other
pre-existing (CEPAL, MARC, LILACS, etc) for use in different types of
Archives (From secretariat, Central, Intermediate, History), wich i that
tested with this archival standard and it works perfectly.

I think it would be necesary this standar in ABCD, which can be directed
explicitly to carry out the description of the documents of different types
of Archives. With this I think we would be filling a gap (which was once
thought to ABCD, but never could make effective) meeting criteria
Identifiability, Uniformity and Universality for the work to be done in
this type of Documentation Centers.

For this job, i suggest using the ISAD-G version, adapted by the Committee
on Descriptive Standards of CIA (Consejo Internacional de Archivos), in
1999. Personally, I think ABCD might open their horizons to the Archives,
and there would be a vast amount of potable new users.

I welcome your comments and/or suggestions. And if you need more details,
i'm at your disposal.
