  Voy a escribir esto en dos lenguas para asegurarme de tener suerte en mi primera pregunta.
   En otro tiempo supe convertir un par de veces un lista en Excel para formato iso, en Cds/isis. 
   El camino que seguí fue como se explica a continuación
  1) Identificar las columnas en Excel y el ancho de estas columnas
  2) Luego, grabé el archivo Excel en formato *.dbf, por ejemplo base.dbf
  3) Después, convertí el archivo base.dbf a base.iso con el programa DB3.iso 
  4) Luego hice un archivo de reformateo llamado format.fst
  con la siguiente estructura
  1 0 v16
  2 0 v18
  3 0 v38
  4 0 v39
  Pero no recuerdo bien si para hacer la importación desde el programa Microisis en realidad tenía que ser dispuest de esta otra manera
  16 0 v1
  18 0 v2
   38 0 v3
   39 0 v4
   Hice el archivo en Notepad guardándolo entre comillas para no generar un archivo de texto sino un archivo de reformateo.
  Y para terminar no sé bien en qué carpeta tiene que ir este archivo de reformateo, si en 
   c:\isis\data\base\  o en alguna otra que sea parte de la instalación, porque me da mensaje de error y el programa se cierra automáticamente
  5) A continuación, hice una base vacía llamada "base" en formato Cepal
  6) Luego, importé el archivo en la base creada.
  De esta forma logré aprovechar el trabajo realizado por personas que trabajaron mucho y durante mucho tiempo, quizá sin las normas de catalogación, pero eso me ahorró mucho trabajo y se pudo montar un servicio
   Mi duda está en el paso 4)
