Dear colleagues,

Does anyone need an isis version of the Eric Thesaurus? I converted the XML download of the latest official version (October 2015) into an isis database. It has the same structure as the Agovoc thesaurus which comes with ABCD. You can download it here:

http://www.personeel.khleuven.be/~pikey/EricThesaurus.zip

This zip file contains the MST and the XRF. I left out the history notes (which you don't need for normal use).

For this conversion I followed Ernesto's example from one of his mails where he explained how to convert a tagged file with MX. Some years ago I converted many files with all kinds of programs (Fangorn and many others), but this is a very powerful way to do conversions. So, Ernesto: if you have more examples of the like (and of other advanced things to do with MX) please share them with us.
